Just wondering: Did you get your kachina from Southwest Indian Foundation? At any rate, I don't think that LED candle is bright enough.
Dad and I bought the Kachinas from Native carvers directly - You would encounter some in the downtown Flagstaff area trying to sell to some of the shops. We'd ask them how much they wanted and buy on the spot . As for the led's I put 2 in the metal pumpkin - sort of an amber flickering light.
