Lol, that looks like a m-60 which is a belt fed machine gun so seeing no belt would lead me to believe it isn't loaded. but I could be mistaken. :3

Correct unloaded and finger off the trigger. It also fires from the open bolt which it is closed. This doesn't change the fact it is heavy and makes a good poking stick.

Still, you NEVER point a weapon at anything you do not intend to kill or destroy, regardless of whether it is loaded or not.

I can see what you meant by detailed work in this commission. Those firearms must have especially taken quite a bit of time to draw out the linework on and color. Still, I agree, it all came out very well as a result! :)

I feel a bit sorry for the fox dude though. I imagine anyone would be shocked to suddenly find they have a heavy duty gun like the M60E1 poked at them from behind. XD

Correct, belt fed only. (unless you really want to load each individual round totally defeating the point of a suppression weapon lol)

I think you might be thinking of the M249 SAW (which can theoretically take 30-round M16 mags in an emergency but has shit reliability with them), but the M60 is belt-fed only.
